About Irene
Irene Monique Salehi was born in Paris, France and lived intermittently in Iran as well as France throughout
her young adult life. She currently lives in Mississauga, Canada.
In her youth, her passion for arts and crafts
emerged and by her mid-twenties she had begun training in France, Iran and eventually Canada in order to
develop her skills as a Silk Painter.
Over the last 30 years, she has continued to enthusiastically produce
unique Silk Paintings all the while teaching her skills, displaying her art at galleries as well as taking part in
arts shows throughout Ontario.
